This is a Jeopardy-style competition designed to test participants' skills in various areas of cybersecurity through a series of challenges. These challenges are organized into categories - such as cryptography, reverse engineering, web exploitation, binary exploitation, forensics, and miscellaneous. Solving a challenge yields a "flag" - a specially formatted string of text (in our case the flag format is the following: HCF{example_text}) - that must be submitted to earn points. The team or individual with the highest score at the end of the competition wins.
